There's plenty of features that seem beneficial to a bigger company but aren't relevant to my business. Lastly, they advertise great rewards, but the fine print is you can't access these until an entire year into your history with them. I wish companies would allow you to at least sit on hold for a while if you desire the option to speak with a live person. It also is taxing trying to explain a technical problem via text and realizing 30 min through a chat that you haven't been able to successfully communicate the issue. I just don't have time to sit staring at the chat box waiting for someone to respond. It takes forever to solve a problem when you have to wait 5-10 min in between every chat exchange. I wasn't aware that I had to set certain parameters to my budgets and assign them properly to each virtual card, so for a while I was attempting transactions with vendors that kept getting denied.Īlso, I am tired of the trend of chat-style customer service. The budgeting aspect of the platform, while helpful, was also unclear and hard to figure out how to work with. As this was the main reason I signed up, I'm pretty disappointed. Divvy's credit builder (prepaid card) was sold under the pretense that in 6 months, they'd evaluate your history with them and open up a monthly line of credit upon approval. I am a very small business, so some of the features of team expenses isn't pertinent to me, but it seems like it would be a great feature to grow into.Ĭons: One thing I am disappointed in is the false promise of building credit. I can use Divvy to do business with my vendors without wiring money. Pros: I like this card because I routinely make purchases that would be considered too large for my bank's daily transaction limit.
